Privacy Policy

1. About this policy

Anonomatic, Inc. (“Anonomatic”, “we”, “us”) provides data protection and privacy technology. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through anonomatic.com and related pages (the “Site”), and when you contact us, request a demo, download a white paper, sign up for email updates, register for support and training, or activate the Anonomatic Service.

This policy does not cover the data our customers process with our products. Our products run inside the customer’s own environment, and Anonomatic does not receive or see that data. Use of our products is governed by the Terms of Use the customer accepts when it activates the Anonomatic Service, together with our Data Processing Addendum.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us: your name, company, work email, work phone number, LinkedIn profile (optional), the topic and content of your message, and your email-update preferences.

Information about your license: when you activate the Anonomatic Service, the name, work email and organization of the people who activate and administer it, and license and activation details, so that we can administer the license.

Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies.

3. How we use information

  • To respond to your questions, arrange demos, and provide support and training access.
  • To activate, administer and support your license to the Anonomatic Service.
  • To send you the white papers or other materials you request.
  • To send you updates about Anonomatic, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To operate, secure and improve the Site and understand how it is used.
  • To comply with the law and to enforce our agreements.

4. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to operate the Site, gather usage data, and improve your experience. We use Google Analytics to understand Site traffic. Google’s information about how it uses data from sites that use its services is at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. Our Site currently does not respond to “Do Not Track” signals.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only with: (a) service providers that help us run the Site, send email, manage our contacts and analyze usage, who may use it only to provide services to us; (b) authorities or others when required by law or to protect rights, safety or security; (c) a successor if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets; and (d) others with your consent. We do not sell personal information.

6. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes in this policy and to meet legal obligations. We then delete or de-identify it. If you unsubscribe from email updates, we keep your address on a suppression list so we do not email you again.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal information, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message. To make a request, contact us at the address below. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.

California and other US state residents: under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act) and similar state laws, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell personal information. You may use an authorized agent to make a request.

EU and UK residents: where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information on these legal bases: our legitimate interests in responding to you and promoting our services, your consent (for marketing email and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation. You may have the right to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your data, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
